Kevin Edwards, a 35-year-old black man, was shot and killed Thursday, April 30, 1992, in the 600 block of South Locust Avenue in Compton. Edwards was shot after an apparent argument with a friend at a home far from the scene of any disturbances. "It may have been a domestic dispute," said Det. John Swanson.
